Anthony

Hi everyone. As you know Willow and I have been followed by top doctors to prevent a clott on her valve during pregnancy. If you are not familiar with our story go hunting and read our experiences. At this time I am not going to go into details as to what happened but after you find out you will be blown away. Consider being followed by the very best doctors in the country in the top hospital for eight weeks and still having to replace a valve. And this second time was even more frightening then the first experience. If you are considering getting pregnant with a mechanical valve wait until you read what we've been through. I believe you will not want to once you know what we know. For now I can say that Willow is recovering from both a C-Section/Tubal and Heart Surgery replacement valve. She now has the ON-X valve. We will discuss this as well. But I'm going to wait until Willow comes home so that we can post our story together. The good news is she made it through surgery and should be home on Saturday. Our baby girl is also doing very well at 3 pounds 5 ounces and has no defects. They are my miracle girls. I'm probably the only dad that has two children born with a St. Jude Mechanical Mitral Valve. God loves me very much to keep them all alive.

Stay tuned,
Anthony

Chill bumps!!!!

Chill bumps!!!!

Thank God on the birth and health of your girls!! May special blessings be with Willow - her poor tired body - may she find deep, recuperative rest. I cannot imagine what she has been through. You both are blessed with this miracle family.

PS - send us that sweet baby's name ;0)

Great News!! Send Willow our Love and let her know we are thinking of her. You all are in my prayers!!

Congratulations! Miracles do happen. If these kinds of miracles don't convince people there is a God, I don't know what will. Your holidays will certainly be blessed this year.

Your post was so touching. I have followed your story from the beginning and for it to end in such a dangerous way with everything turning out just fine it really touched me. My congratulations to you and your wife. Take good care of your girls - all of them.

I'm so very happy that things are looking good. I can't wait to read your full story, but I can make guesses as to what occured. I pray for continued improvement for both Willow and your new little girl. (Name?)

this sounds so frightening. so glad to hear that although this was a difficult situation, it worked out well.
wishing both girls a speedy recovery and we look forward to hearing the rest of your story.
wishing all the best,

Wow. I can only imagine what you and Willow are feeling. Please know you're in my thoughts and when Willow is ready, I'd love to hear your story. My husband and I will be meeting with doctors in the next few weeks to discuss the possibility of me carrying a pregnancy. Your story is in the front of my mind. I've contacted one of Willow's doctors, FYI.
