Can different batches of test strips give different INRs? Since the rat poison takes a day or two to metabolize, would time of day relative to dosing time give different INRs?
I've been cruising along with test results on the INRatio in the mid and high
3's. Yesterday, I started a new batch of test strips and the INR was down to 2.8. I prefer INRs around 3.5.
Since the test is "within range", I decided to leave the dose the same and compare the results of the next test before making any adjustments.
I'm looking for some opinions on waiting to adjust.

Yes, different batches can give different results but they should still be in the .4 or so "acceptable" variance.

What was you last INR before starting the new batch?

A common mistake when starting a new box is to not change the strip code on the monitor to match the new strip lot code. If you remembered to change the code then I would encourage you to contact the technical support group at HemoSense. 877-436-6444 option 4.
