Our guide dog breeder had six pups -- four girls and 2 boys -- weighing in at 11 oz to 1.1 lbs.
Any and all tensions disappear when I hold young puppies.

Congratulations on the arrival of your wonderful little babies. Quite adorable of course.

Just curious -- what were the color of the dam & sire? (Dunno if that's what they call them in the dog fancy.) I'm curious as to the genetics of color inheritance.

There's nothing quite like a Lab puppy. One yellow and the rest black. Is the yellow a male or female? We have a yellow female by the name of Abby. She's our second Lab. Our first was Brandy (a yellow female) and we were blessed to have her for 13 years. We got our pups from breeders in Maryland and Georgia. I may be partial (in fact I know I am) to Labs, but they are the most lovable, loyal, "great with kids" dogs that I know. In fact, Abby is sleeping at my feet as I sit here on the computer. Congratulations on the new arrivals!!
