Hi Everyone,
We're leaving here in a couple of hours to make the trek up to Cleveland Clinic (want to be settled in by the time "Housewives" premieres at 9 )
I have to check in tomorrow at 5:15AM, so I doubt if I'll do much sleeping tonight. At least my surgery is first thing, so I won't have to do any waiting. Luckily, Dr. Cosgrove is only doing one surgery a day now instead of the 4 a day eek: ) that he did in the past. (easy to see how he's done 20,000 of these things!).
My 17 yr old daughter, Kelly, should be posting for me by tomorrow night. I hope to be able to make it to the computer room at the end of the hall after a few days to check in. I will take my sanitizing gel, since it sounds like a germy place!
Ross, I hope by the time I get back on here that you will have found some options for Chris. I just remember seeing your post a week ago today about the accident, and I am so thankful that you have these problems to deal with today instead of what could have been.
Nancy, I also hope you get Joe settled in somewhere, and I know you will make the most of everything. With you too, I'm thankful you are searching for after care, since things seemed so bleak for awhile.
OK, things to do, so I better get going. I still am weirdly not nervous. Guess I'm in my resigned phase, since a month ago I could start shaking without even thinking about it. I think I owe a lot of it to everyone here, since I feel like an old pro at this!
Thanks to all... see you from the other side of the mountain!
