Welcome!

Hey Noel,
Just wanted to Welcome you to this Great Place.;) You are going to find a lot of Wonderful and Helpful People here.

Hey, Noel..Welcome to our site..Don't be shy.:D Mary tells me that you live in the Great State of Alabama...:) I'm from Selma and we have several other active members from Alabama..:) Reply to this tread and tell us about yourself.....Bonnie

Just went to the heart talk forum and saw you are already posting.:) But, welcome...and hope we can help with any questions for Noel. bonnie

Thank you Bonnie

Thank you Bonnie

I am Noel's wife and since he doesn't like to fool with a computer..I am it. :p Noel was a State Trooper and retired in 1986....then he went to work for Wal~Mart and retired from there in 2002. I retired from a finance company.
We will be celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary next Thursday...and have reservations and plans to go on a 9 day bus tour with a group from here. We are going to Vermont. The doctor assured us it was alright to travel so we are just trusting it is and realize these fun times might be ending sooner than we planned.
I must admit this is all a little scary...at least for me...and Noel who has never been one to worry or get excited about anything is seemingly not worried or if he is he is not showing it.
Thanks for the Welcome....and I realize after reading a lot here today...we have an awful lot to learn.

Just wanted to welcome you, too!

Just wanted to welcome you, too!

Welcome Noel/Robbie!....I'm still new too but have found lots of great info and new friends here that are invaluable!

Hi, Noel and Robbie!

Well, you've found it -- THE best place on the web for supporting heart valve patients and their families.

Let me officially welcome you to The Waiting Room -- the virtual room in which many of us await our own turns at valve surgery. Some of us are only waiting a short time, others (myself included) have a more extended wait, as we have been diagnosed well in advance of the need for surgery. You're welcome always. . .

I'm glad you came in, and invite you to make yourself at home. Ask all the questions you can think of -- the folks here at vr.com are among the most knowledgeable and sharing (and caring) people in the world. Many of us come to think of them as extended family. We hope you enjoy your visit, and that you will return often.

Welcome to the insane asylum! Kick your shoes off, make some popcorn and indulge in reading and heart surgery education. ;) :D

Welcome.. you will find out about anything you can think of on this site.. Ask away:D
