ups and downs

Its been a while since we have been on the forum. We have been booking holidays and wedding vow renewals and other happy stuff. Martin has been well on the mend, back to work and on the up since his op in January and Endocarditis Feb/March. He has been back to work since May but over the past few weeks has started to get more problems. The docs put him on half propranolol for migraine/anxiety/lower his heart rate, and just the past couple of weeks lisinopril 2.5 for raised blood pressure. Problem is he is exhausted,sleeps all the time, has head aches and his eyes hurt all the time. He drives @ 200 miles a day and I am wondering if this is making his symptoms worse. He has had the usual visual aura's after surgery. The cardiologist said today that he is going to put him on a 24hour monitor for BP as its now too low and is not steady. They dont seem to know what is causing this. Anybody else had pains like these?

Carbon Monoxide? Is it possible that exhaust fumes are entering the vehicle on these extended drives?

I dont think its that. he has used my car over the weekend and still gets it. its coming and going all the time.

Do you think it is possible that he didn't have enough time to fully recover before gong back to such a busy schedule? Perhaps he needs a little more recovery time? All of that really knocks the stuffing out of you.

Hopefully the doctors will keep searching for a cause and be able to help.
