I guess I'll toot my own horn here...my valve was nine years old yesterday. I was out of town yesterday and couldn't announce it myself. I feel like an old-timer. :D :D

Happy anniversary, Sherry's valve!
Long may you tick-tock!
Hugs,
Mary

Congrats Sherry. 9 years does qualify as an "old timer", at least for the valve. You are still a spring chicken.;) :D
May you have 99 more.

9 years is surely something to be pleased with.....Excited even. I'll soon reach my first anniversary and it doesn't seem possible that it will soon be a year.

Hey Sherry,
Congratulations on your valve birthday:) I hope you have many more to celebrate.
Take Care

Thanks, all. It feels so nice to be moving in on a decade of relatively good health. I suppose it gives the newbies someone to look up to, although I'm truly in awe of Karlynn, Gina, RCB, Twinmaker, and Rich for posting more years than I. You all are my valve heroes. :) :)

Cort, give me a holler when you are heading back up to Chicago. Maybe I can come meet you in Mt. Vernon for lunch again. I'll PM you my cell number tomorrow.

Oh, no...........

Oh, no...........

YOur valve has hit the tweens...............may it have many, many more birthdays. Hugs. J.

*chuckles*

Got your PM and replied to it before I read this thread...he he he. Cool ... Mt Vernon would be perfect :).

Happy 9th valve birthday...

this really does give us with newbies with baby-valves something to look forward to...

hope you celebrated :D

Cort, if it's Tues., Wed., or Thursday of this week, it will work great. I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Aussigal, I definitely celebrated. Another year on this earth is always a reason to celebrate. In fact, I think I celebrated with a South Australian cabernet from your home country. :D :D

Happy Valve Birthday!

I would make a cake and really celebrate! I'm a birthday freak anyway...any reason for a cake!:p

Happy anniversary Sherry!!
I'm not that far ahead of you, got my tenth coming up next month.
It's good to hear you are doing well.
It is an inspiration for me, when I see how many members have had their valves a whole lot longer than myself.
Hope that gives some new members a lot of confidence.
Rich
