Staples are out but incision is infected

I finaly got all 50 staples removed today. I feel sooooo much better! The incision is red and infected so they called an antibiotic in for me and gave me betadine swabs to paint on after I get out of shower. They think its all red and infected from staples being in too long but the antibiotic should clear it up soon. It already looks less red to me since staples have been removed!

Life is good!!!
