Hi! I’m a 47 yr old non smoking female that has had chronic hypertension for 17 years (took medicine and believed it was controlled) Well I developed a tear in my aorta and had an emergency aortic dissection open heart surgery almost 1 month ago. I stayed in hospital 8 days and have been home recuperating. It’s tough. I’m not tolerating food well at all it feels way to heavy once it gets past my chest. My incisions are super sore. I have gas pressure or bubbles in my chest a lot even though I barely eat. Just wondering if any of you kind souls have advice or stories of what may have helped you early on during your own recovery. Thank you in advance
