Hi Friends,
I've been meaning to show these pictures for a long time. The pics are of me and my two friends Sam (aged 17) and Mark (aged 23). Sam is a fitness trainer at the gym I attend and Mark is a congenital heart friend.
We cycled 58miles from London to Brighton sea front along with 27,000 other cyclists, many of them heart patients. The ride is an annual event and this year raised £2.5million for heart research.
This is the 3rd time I have done the ride. But the first time with a mechanical heart valve. The ticker was fine throughout, but the ride took me a lot longer than expected because of my broken arm.
We all had a great day and I couldn't have done it with the support of Sam and Mark!
