I'm so glad to hear that Joe is home. I also agree with John about Cleveland Clinic. It may do some good to have some different doctors take a look at Joe. His case seems to be very complicated. The two of you need to eat and be merry for the holidays. Have a Very Merry Christmas!

Hi, Nancy,
So glad to hear Joe is doing o.k. after his E.R. scare. You are very dedicated, and he is so lucky to have his angel watching over him. You kindly responded to a personal e-mail of mine about a month ago (chostochondritis). Finally saw a pain specialist today, and he ordered a bone scan for next week and a low dose of elavil and a narcotic for the pain. Should get me through the holidays. Take care and you and Joe try and enjoy Christmas.

Elavil and a narcotic should get you through the holidays floating like an angel, LOL I'm sure you'll feel better!

Joe has an appointment with a specialist in CHF and pulmonary hypertension at Albany Medical Center on December 30. This is a much larger heart center not too far from where we live. They're big enough to do transplants. I agree that a new set of eyes will be a good thing. This is a man that one of his cardiologists mentioned as a resource and he is the only doctor specializing in these conditions in the area. He very kindly gave us a fast appointment. So Joe is a little more "pumped" about things and so am I.

That was a good Christmas present.

May you have a Merry Xmas..and hopefully next year will be lots better for all of us. However, My Daddy has an aneurysm in his stomach and will have a cat scan done on Jan. 8th..to see if it can be removed by stent. He is age 88..so just holding my breath. We lost my Mother-in-law, my father-in-law and my Mother 3 years in a row. Just couldn't bare it to lose Daddy this coming year. So all we can do is leave it in God's hands. Have a Happy Xmas. Thanks everyone.

I did finish the crocheted doll, dress, hat and high button shoes, plus a funny looking frog for my grandson, and a dog pal for my dog, and a table top bejeweled tree for another gift, and a couple of loopy boa scarves and hats for myself and daughters.

Can you tell that I need a lot of outlets???
