Well...pre-op went uneventfully..surgery scheduled for 8:00 am Friday June 28.

Heather ( the better half ) and I are going to Hamilton ( about 50 miles away ) and will stay overnite at a hotel ( hate to get up at 4 in the morning to drive there WITHOUT A COFFEE!!) have to be at admitting at 6 am.

Heather will try to send a message re'my status probably Sunday when she comes home for a break.

To all of you for the kind words, the gems of wisdom and knowledge you have shared, and for the good humour when needed...my sincere thanks.

Hope to make contact again in a week or so.

Dear Jack - well, you are on ready, set and tomorrow is go. Try to sleep tonight, but if you can't, don't worry - they will let you sleep tomorrow. My prayers are being sent along for you and your family and my sincerest wishes for good things in the days ahead. Travel the path and we are going along with you and then give you hand over the top of the mountain - it really ain't as tall as it looks. GODSPEED
