WOW, the lowest for 2x24 I have seen has been about $200usd. $135 for that amount is AWESOME I think. Most of the time that price is for 24, not 48........AND FOR SURE KEEP AN EYE FOR THOSE EXPIRE DATES!

The ad said they expire in 10/23. The box had the same date. I doubt that the seller messed with the box and put strips that expire sooner into the box.

I'm finishing my current batch of strips, so I'll know pretty soon if there's something weird going on with these strips.

If you have one of the inexpensive XS meters that were sold on eBay (for as low as $29.99), and care about getting a strip guide or battery cover, someone on eBay is selling them. OTOH - I called Roche about a strip guide (I didn't want to ask for guide and battery cover) and Roche sent me one at no charge.

Thanks for letting us know! I have three meters, two of which I got super cheap, but they did not have the strip guide or battery cover. I was able to get battery cover and strip guide from Roche, so now I have two complete meters. I don't want to push my luck and ask for another set of covers from Roche, so I may opt to buy them from eBay. Why the back ups? Well, in case my main one decides to die some day, which I hear is not common. Or, I may give my extras to a friend, as I am a big believer in self management and from the data, it clearly saves lives when folks self manage, reducing events by about 50% on average.
