Last Friday was the first time in the past three years that I have had my INR officially tested via a simple finger prick.
My cardio's office got a new Coaguchek. I nailed a good 2.8 and I thank God for new technology. I will never have to see a vampire bat again, no bruises, no painful probing to get blood flow, and no waiting 24 hrs. or more for results!
It was literally painless and took less than 30 seconds to get the results.
My personal Protime unit is still in Insurance coverage review. They've only had my proposal for 1-1/2 months! I wonder now what my Cardio office is going to charge for the test (compared to QAS $12.00 personal test cost)?
Y'all take care.
