Dr. says I need surgery ASAP

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this and i know it's very terrifying. I'm having to wait for my AVR surgery due to other health problems, but i would be doing it right away if i could. The way my doc explained it to me, waiting too long could make it so that the heart becomes damaged to the extent that surgery would be impossible, or that they could do surgery, but the outcome wouldn't be as good and a person would be left with major problems for life. You're a young guy and have a long life ahead of you, so if you have confidence in your dr. please don't dilly dally, but go full steam ahead and get the surgery done and over with.
