I too had trace regurgitation after surgery, then moderate, and then none. Hopefully, this is just stages the heart goes through. However, it is terrifying and worrisome. Hope all will be well soon!!!

I had robotic repair I had robotic repair of my Mitral Valve in July 2005 and insurance covered. I don't think this is a problem for heart surgery. It maybe for new procedures.

I had I had my mammogram about 2 months before I had my MVR and then went the following year which was fine. I'd wait about about 6-8 months to heal if you didn't have it prior to surgery. Good luck with all!
