I almost made it through the day without realizing that today marks 2 years since my AVR!!! For those who just made it to this side of the mountain, WELCOME! It is a tough journey, but it really will get better. ;)

I am having my first bridging experience. I am scheduled for a hysterectomy Tuesday morning. Ironically, I was told I needed to have a hysterectomy 3 years ago, but put it off because I was TERRIFIED of surgery. Now, after AVR, a hysterectomy seems like nothing. lol
