    12 weeks now. Tired and memory loss?

    Time is a great healer ... Every week will make a massive difference ... I had no specific memory loss issues ... But then my memory was not as good at 50 as it was at 30 ... However you will get better and 40 minutes on the treadmill is fantastic ... Keep it up and keep coming back here.

    i am 52 and had an AVR done in July .. choose mechanical .. was right for me .... I wasn't worried about Warfarin (Coumadin) but preferred not to have another op in future unless something goes badly wrong ... I don't think there is a good or bad choice ... only what you are comfortable with ...

    Welcome .... the best thing to do is to do what YOU feel comfortable with .. I am 52 and opted for Mechanical .. I like the sound of the ticking but accept that not everyone will.

    The good news is you don't need to make any decisions today ... See how you feel in another two or three weeks .. Every week makes a big difference ... There has been a lot of good advice provided on this thread ... We are all different .. I am 6 weeks post op and intend going back in two weeks...
