I am 3 months post op with a St. Jude valve. I am having a lot of BP issues; possibly hormonal, so doing the tests. I had an echo done yesterday and was told I have mild regurgitation. Is that normal with a new valve? I will be discussing with my cardiologist at next appointment...

I believe I have to wait 6 months first. I don’t mind the lab. It’s leas than 10 minutes from my house and she said the goal is to in every 6 weeks once stabilized.
Hopefully this is something that can be treated. You sound defeated and I just want to encourage you to hang in there! It’s good you have a diagnosis now so the dr can work on finding ways to treat it. Maybe you just need some different meds.
