    Natural Anti Coagulants?

I think you’re right actually. I was under the impression it was easier. I think I saw some papers on easier ways to synthesize warfarin, but I’m no chemist so reading those are almost jibberish to me. Yeah definitely the easiest and best plan for sure.

    Natural Anti Coagulants?

I was watching a video on how to make aspirin and it actually looks pretty simple. Apparently 1st year chemistry students start out by making aspirin. Warfarin seems like it’d be just as easy, but there’s not any videos on making it. I’m sure if you practiced with a few drugs you could figure...

    Natural Anti Coagulants?

Interesting! I wonder if a mix of alchohol and grapefruit juice would make your INR jump up much higher. I told my prepper dad that in the event of an apocalypse I’ll be one of the first to die. I said this even before I was taking warfarin. I just don’t have delusions of grandure in an event...

    Natural Anti Coagulants?

Are there any foods or drinks out there that will naturally raise INR? Alchohol? Fenugreek? Any personal experiences? I’m not worried about raising my INR, but I’m really interested in the topic and was curious if anything actually raises it.

    Surgery scheduled in two weeks

I’m staying at my parents for now. I don’t have a recliner at home. I tried a bed for a week though. It definitely sucks. Props for pushing through it! When did sleeping become comfortable for you?

Thanks for the figures! That helps me get out much more. I ended up switching back to a recliner last night. I’m just in so much pain sleeping on my back right now. I think I’ll sleep in the recliner for another week or two. I actually can get a full night sleep in a recliner.

    High Resting Heart Rate?

I was told I have atrial flutter. They prescribed me a beta blocker, but told me to only take it if my blood pressure is over 100 (I naturally have a pretty low blood pressure). So far feel pretty good on it. No side effects, so I’ll see how this works for me. Thanks everyone!

    Surgery scheduled in two weeks

I’ve been recovering pretty fast! Walked around a mile total (probably slightly less) the other day. Not sure how much I should be going easy. So I eased up on the cardio since then. Not really using pain meds anymore! Hate not being able to use my arms much and getting out of bed is a pain in...

    High Resting Heart Rate?

Thanks! I’m planning on calling tomorrow, but they didn’t seemed that concerned at the hospital because “you’re young”(33) I was just sitting, watching YouTube. I actually feel fine at a higher heart rate, but I notice because I can feel my pulse occasionally I’m checking with a finger oxygen...

    High Resting Heart Rate?

Anyone have experience with this after surgery? When I wake up my heart rate is in the 90s, but I have times where it jumps up 110-128bpm. Normally it’ll go down after awhile, but today it’s persisted for an hour or two. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

My surgery was cancelled 3 days before I was to enter the hospital.

I second calling them back and asking them if they rescheduled or are planning to. Sorry you had that cancelled. That’s a lot of emotional buildup for nothing.

    Surgery scheduled in two weeks

Just got home! Was feeling a bit lightheaded earlier and my PA and Nurse had a disagreement if I should go home or not. Nurse thought I should stay one more day which I don’t necessarily disagree, but I know for sure I wasn’t getting the nutrients I needed at the hospital. Their vegan menu was...

Thanks for the reply! When I cover my ears I still hear it. Not really any louder.

    Surgery scheduled in two weeks

I survived! They saw that my aneurysm was not 4.0 it was 3.4 or so. So that was amazing news! The ticking is way louder than I thought. They said that is unusual. But overall the sound doesn’t bother me.

    Surgery scheduled in two weeks

Tomorrow is the big day! My surgery coming up hasn’t felt real. It’s about to feel super real when I’m in the hospital. Edit: feal 😂
