    4 Years

I am more emotional now. I've always had some generalized anxiety issues but it's gotten worse since my surgery.

    4 Years

4 years ago this week I had my mitral valve repaired. Recovery was suprisingly quick and easy. However, mentally I have never really felt quite the same since. A bit more generalized anxiety, a bit more depression but mostly just feeling sorta off if that makes any sense. Anyone else...

    Nausea and decreased appetite

The loss of appetite is normal and common. I rarely felt like eating and when I did nothing tasted good. I never felt sick to my stomach though.

2 weeks post-op and concerned with sproadic vision issues and some light headedness

    8 Months Post

Thanks all. I imagine I may get to a time where I see my cardio guy twice a year and have one yearly echo.

    8 Months Post

Just had another echocardiogram and all is well. When did you feel like this whole event was in the past? I have no idea when I will even see my cardio guy again. Is it all over?

If you think it sucks having one taken out try having one put in.

12 weeks Post-OP and now I HAVE THE FLU

Influenza rarely causes vomiting in adults so you likely have something else going on also. Hope you are feeling better soon.
