Interesting post. I have surgery on Monday too. No anti-bacterial scrubbing yet. I go tomorrow for my Pre-op blood work and a visit with the anesthesiologist. We'll have to compare notes and scars in the Post-Surgery forum. Best wishes for a smooth surgery and speedy recovery.

I have a 1.3 cm mass in the left atrial appendage. They are doing OHS to take it out on Monday. AVR and MVR while they are at it. :-) Myxoma was guessed but we won't know until the pathology comes back.

Thanks all! Pre-op is scheduled for 9am Friday. Surgery 7:30am Monday. I'll let you know how the pre-op goes.
