    Tissue Valves

    When speaking to the surgeon they have all the major producers available at the time of surgery. The final choice will be what is the best fit for me. have to say I'm getting jumpier as the days go by more then ready to get it over with.

    Met with the surgeon yesturday we went discussed pros and cons of each type and decided on A tissue valve. Surgery set for next Thursday more then ready to get it done the one question is if he can do a minimally invasive replacement do to chest thickness.

    Met with surgeon to today got the date next Thursday the fifth going with a tissue valve. Wasn't expecting it to be this quick but more then ready.

    Trying to gather more information on tissue valves before meeting with surgeon Wednesday. Tried search and could not find much of anything to mark a comparison from one one manufacturer to another. Any help or insight greatly appreciated. Thanks

    When I was told I needed valve after scoping doctor said should be done in the next three to six months. Just getting nervous and ready to get it over and move on as much as anything

    Going for first meeting with surgeon next week wondering what seems to be average wait time for surgery. Not particularly patient to begin with and has been about three months since I was told that I would need a aortic valve replacement. Thanks for any help.

    Newbie - I meet with my surgeon next week

    I had cath Thursday confirmed I have to have aortic valve replacement. Heads spinning trying to figure out which type of valve to get at 67 would like to make this a one shot deal. If anyone hear can point me in the right direction for information would be greatly appreciated.
