My pet peeve .. When i walk into a room and forget why i went in there, or mid sentence forget what i was talking about, just feeling completely empty headed , and all the other fun stuff that goes along with pumphead

I worry my repaired valve wont stay repaired I also worry my palps are something worse (How can my heart do that so much and not be serious) I worry my teenage sons will make a life altering mistake while they are young I worry my husband's narcolepsy will get worse and he'll fall asleep...

I do not know anything about QRS. Sorry mecrdited !! Howevermy palps continued all day Monday i took my pulse and realized my heart was skipping a beat, Hubby urged me to call doc and i did so tuesday went in for ekg and the nurse definately saw some PVc's. But waiting for Dr to get back to...

I was diagnosed at three, they say i was most likely born with it. Got it repaired almost 12 weeks ago at age 35.

I am surprised how after surgery my eyes and nose seems to work better, colors seem more vivid and smells are stronger (nice ones and nasty ones)

I was surprised how scared my hubby looked when I had to get blood. I was surprised when they pulled my tubes i got an awful pain down my spine. I also did not know surgery could make you need insulin. I was definately surprised at the back and shoulder pain.

about 2 or 3 weeks after surgery an episode of fraser nearly killed me ...

I havent been on for awhile ..... I got my mitral valve repaired 2 and a half months ago, and everything for the most part went smoothly. However last week started noticing palpitations once again. Is this something i should be concerned with? BTW, I take 5mg lisonopril and 25 mgs Metropolol...

It's been 6 weeks and 4 days since surgery, and i got my bill today. $188,699.50 LOL good thing they waited 6 and 1/2 weeks my heart may not have took it a while back. My husband may let them repo me :eek2: LOL. Michele

Hi Angel, I had a cath about a month post op was totally freaked out about it. Got there and found out they were going thru my neck, so even more freaked out. But really, all thet freaking out was a waste of my time. Had no pain(they numb the area) just a little tickle as they moved the wires...

I did not donate my own blood , but i did need 2 pints. One in the first 24 hours after surgery and one on the 4th day after surgery Doc said my h and h was low. On that 4th day felt very drained did not even have enough energy to open the plastic silverware, and i was very white, even my lips...
