can you ruin a valve repair by exercising too hard?

Today was my first day or cardiac rehab and I really didn't enjoy it. everyone kept commenting on how young I was and how I shouldn't be there. Everyone was very friendly and I was accepted with open arms but it made me feel kinda crappy about myself. They made me do very light exercises and...

    Drain tube holes

They say coacoa butter. Im an avid lifter and had some stretch marks on my upper arm from over extension during bench press. Although it will not make the scar dissapear, it should lessen the redness of the scar. They also sell other rubs at local pharmacys like cvs, walgreens, or rote aid. I do...

    5 week update.

All the docs told me that its completley normal to have a few lousy days in there, its part of recovery. As for becoming addicted to percocet, I wouldn't worry about it. You said your only taking it once or twice a day which is not much at all. I was taking it 4-5 times a day for 5 weeks and I...

I called my cardiologist and surgeon and they both said vigorous exercise would not ruin a valve repair or a replacement. I was symptomatic before hand so it will prob take me a little while longer before I'm back to...

    Insomnia at it's worst

Absolutley. I wasn't having any problem sleeping when I was on a pain med. I got off of them about 3 days ago and now I am unable to sleep. I only got 45 minutes of sleep but amazingly I was able to run a half mile just this morning which for me is a huge step. I have the feeling of being...

    cold hands and feet?

Thank you for the link post, Greg. But my whole body does not get cold, I am mostly warm. It only happens if I start to move around to much. I will start to feel my hands and feet starting to get cold and lose color. I also dont think that I could be classified as a perfectly functioning heart...
