I am very happy to report this morning that my Dad is rapidly healing!!! While they had expected to keep him in ICU thru the weekend.... the nurse told us first thing this morning that since he is doing so well they will be transferring Dad to step down later today. He even had a popsicle...

well, Dr Pettersson came out about an hour ago and told us that he completely replaced the aorta with a homograft. replaced the mitral valve with a porcine valve and repaired the tricuspid. so things went pretty much according to plan. Now we're just waiting on him being closed up and...
