Gail, so relieved to hear from you! Woo hoo! Three cheers for you and Miller (whom I
will see on Monday!) Yay. Rest well...

If you are talking about Stanford. Dr Miller and Dr. Mitchell are the 2 A teams there! I had my AV and ascending aorta replaced there by Dr. Mitchell in August of 08. In my humble opinion they are the best on the west coast. I was very satisfied with my surgery and 6 day hospital stay there. If heaven were a 10 then Stanford and those 2 surgeons are a 9.5!!

David, glad to hear another vote of confidence in Miller. Yes, I saw him and I was extremely impressed with how he explained things to me. Hoping that he is around for a few more years. He said he's got another 5 years in him : )
