I managed to win the local Time Trial here, 10km with a 43 KPH average. Not too shabby 7 months out from surgery. I'm weaker but getting there. knock off another minute and I'm back on form.

Quite incredible. Congratulations on the 1st place finish. You are really close to being back to your old self. For those of us who are used to MPH rather than KPH, I converted that and came up with 26.6 MPH. Is that correct? That's blazing fast. I'm lucky if I can get 16-18 on a ride.
What's up next?

Excellent job! You will continue to improve, it just takes more time then we'd like!:)

Leeroy, you are my inspiration Wow, it's amazing what someone can do when they work hard enough at it! Someone should do a story on you!!
P.S. I'm going to wear the shirt you sent me on the Feb. ride
Take care Debbie :)

Leeroy,
Great job! Congratulations! It must feel wonderful that you made this accomplishment 7 months after surgery. You are an inspiration for us cyclers!
All the best,
