I've used a similar program in Wisconsin www.sharewi.org they serve Wisconsin, northern Illinois and UP of Michigan
They also have a resource page for similar programs in other areas: http://www.sharewi.org/SHAREAffiliates.html

Again, it's not gourmet food but it sure stretches the food dollar.

Incidentally, I just checked out the Minnesota group and the New England group. According to their respective websites there is a pickup location in Princeton MN and there are 24 locations in NH.

Hi Ross ~ I've used Angel Ministries several times in the last couple years. It's very good food and at a cost of about 1/3 of what it would cost to get this amount of food at the supermarket. A lot of people in my apartment complex (who all have some sort of disability) use it. It's a blessing that they have this.

And the best part of all about them, you don't have to be low income, no income or anything. Anyone can purchase food packages.

PURCHASING ANGEL FOOD
There are no restrictions, conditions or forms to fill out to purchase Angel Food. The food relief program is open to one and all. Anyone may purchase an unlimited number of boxes of Angel Food by placing an order with a local Angel Food host site. FIND A LOCAL HOST SITE NOW.

Thanks for the reminder. I sent it to my son and DIL and my daughter.

I tried here in Tucson, AZ. No sites available so I guess we dont have AngelFood here. To bad, I will have to check into any other source that can be used out here.

Our church used to do it but the people that run it left the church and no one else picked up the ball when they left. So most of our people to to a church about 10 miles away. They have several different packages that you can get. You can get all of them if you wish. Anybody can purchase these packages. You don't have to be on low income. The food is very good quality. It's a great program! !
