Yes,Freddie, by the time we meet Cindy and Wise in Gatlinburg, we'll need a magnifying glass to identify them!
Tom, good job; Niki, good job; Jack, good job; SuperBob, thanks for keeping me company.;);)

Superbob is always glad to help out, Madame Ref. Let me know how many pounds you plan to gain next week, and Superbob will gain one more than that. :p:p:p

Congrats to all the losers.......DW and I have decided that summer is hard just for the fact that we are out of our routine with her being out of school for the summer......also there is always an event to attend with summer hot dogs and hamburgers etc......I think we are all doing great.....the one year mark is coming up and we can assess the big picture then.......Oh...do any of you have Caraba's Italian Grill?.....FABTABULOUS:D....we stopped in last night and went soup to nuts .....and yes we had the CANNOLI:D:D:D

Okay, Mary, just one day into a return to less-crazed eating and an extended tour on his exercise bike, and Superbob has shed 2.5 of those 3 pounds gained last week -- so don't count on him keeping you company this week! :D

Hey Ref.....you gonna take that?.....Sounds like SB is rubbing your nose in it.....next he will want to swat you with the paper:D;)

My scale is broken. It must be. At one time it wouldn't go
below 170 and now it's stuck at 172.
It must be broken.
Did I mention that my scale is broken? I can't remember.
I think it's broken. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Cooker, we have Carraba's in Louisville and Lexington. Cindy loves it. We haven't been there in a while, but then again Italian cuisine is part of what got us in the fat boat we were in ;). Cindy wants to know what you had for your main course. As for me, I'm an alfredo man and it used to show. I like Olive Garden for their fettucini alfredo. Don't look SuperBob!

Chicken Marsala ....it was fab....I had not had it there before and would do it again and again and again:D

One of Cindy's favorites. That's one of the better choices for the weight conscious. Maybe I'll get that the next time we go to an Italian restaurant.

We had a Carrabbas in Northern Virginia --- Steak Marsala and Chicken Bryan were two of the memorable feasts -- and a Carrabbas recently opened near here. We haven't visited yet. Kryptonite. The one item Superbob found back in Nova that seemed relatively -- relatively -- low-cal was a scallops dish.

You folks would have to go talking about Italian food.:D

OMG, I'm pretty sure some friends of mine took me to Carrabba's in Tulsa when I went up to visit. They ordered the Italian Nachos, and they were SOOOOO good! Dang it, now I'm hungry. :p

I have a story about Carrabbas, totally off topic though. Last year we gave my mother and mother-in-law both gift certificates to Carrabbas. They're 85 and 86 and need absolutely nothing, however their favorite thing is going out to dinner. They plan their whole week around going out for a late dinner at like 4:30 or 5:00.

So they went out one "night" armed with their gift certs and went the whole hog. They ordered drinks and appetizers and dessert. They scarcely touched the dinner, instead they'd take those home in a box and enjoy tomorrow. So the waitress comes over with the bill and they hand her the cards saying, this will just about cover it, but don't worry honey we brought enough cash for your tip too. The waitress looks perplexed and hands the cards back, well maam the only problem with that is this is Bennigans, not Carrabbas.

OMG that's hilarious! :D I've actually done that before... But to be fair, I had a lot of gift cards in my purse and just happened to pull out the wrong one. I had the correct one and turned it over as soon as the waiter pointed out the mistake.

...and here's the way senior citizens think. They were embarrassed for about 15 minutes but then it occurred to them that - Yay! - they'd get to go out to dinner again. To the right place this time.

I better watch my mouth. I'm a senior now. I got the seniors discount going to see Wall-E last week.

LOL! :D I love that way of thinking! :D

A beautiful day is South Carolina.....family over for grilled hamburgers....all the fixings....peach cobbler....a day filled with fun, family and fat grams:D:D:D:p

Sounds like my entire week-end!
But I did turn down a rootbeer float that my DH just offered to make for me!
(I didn't turn down a blueberry scone last night though!)

I dont remember it when I was there:(
Did the one in Louisville open in the last 10 years?
I thought I knew all the good ones in Lullvul:cool:
But then I ve been away too long , just visits here
and there, but I still consider myself more a Kentuckian
than a New Yorker-Dina

Yes, it has opened within the last 10 years; it has been less time than that. It is on Hurstbourne Lane between I-64 and Shelbyville Road. In that same stretch is Olive Garden (you know that huh?), and Macaroni Grill. There's also a newer one, Amerigo's, which is also Italian (gourmet version with a Kentucky twist, I think). A dangerous stretch of road.
