Southern Mini Reunion????

I have been in low level talks with two other members and we are kicking around the idea of having a Southern Mini Reunion in the fall?.Most likely a long weekend type of thing?.date, time and place to be decided after we get an idea of who might attend and from where?.The initial idea for location was maybe around Gatlinburg or Sevierville TN??.nothing set in stone?.suggestions and comments welcome.

I would consider it for sure. I live in La. but have a son and his family in Nashville so I could do two trips in one.

Hard for me to plan right now because of mobility problems, but it would certainly be exciting to have a mini-reunion in the South. (No secession is planned, ah presume. ) Right now, I am wondering how my knee will hold up just to travel to see family but by fall things could be better. Nice to think about anyway.

I've always wanted to visit your neck of the woods. Autumn seems a good time. Right now I have a few irons in the fire to resolve before travel plans can be made. Should have a better idea of things in mid-September.

Having been there during my November road trip last year...that is a wonderful area to have a mini reunion .

And this fall reunion can't conflict with our event in St. Louis in March!

Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg all run together basically.

I don't know how far you are from Gatlinburg, but might be able to buy a fur piece in Gatlinburg.

I'm already if-y for St. Louis in March, mostly because I don't drive to other states in snow. It's hard to plan that far ahead, so we'll see. So, I'm saying, that for me, this mini southern reunion won't have any bearing on whether I go to the full reunion. I really don't think it will conflict.
