My angiogram is tomorrow!

Everyone please send me good wishes! The angiogram I wouldn't mind, but I'm allergic to shellfish, so you can imagine how I feel about the contrast dye.

They gave me steriods and antihistamines to take tonight and tomorrow. I hate antihistamines but I love steroids, so I hope the steroids win. I guess you'll know which reigns supreme if I'm posting at 3am -- steroids sometimes make me feel a little too good!

Good luck and enjoy the down time! I understand that this procedure will soon be antiquated by the expanded use of the angio CT which detailed the condition of my coronary arteries. Of course, if you need angioplasty or stents, they can't do that without getting a little invasive. I wonder what the cost comparison is between the two procedures.
