You all are silly! :D

I just wanted to brag on myself today. I had a PTA meeting after school today, so went to dinner with some coworkers. We went to Red Robin, which has mostly HUGE burgers. I really didn't want to stuff myself, but have a hard time not eating everything on my plate. Fortunately, the coworker sitting next to me suggested we split a burger. We did and I was completely satisfied! :D I'm so happy that I didn't order one by myself.

Actually, I've been eating less a lot lately. Except for Saturday's lunch (which ended up being all I ate that day because I was stuffed all the way until I went to bed!), I'm very proud of my smaller portions these days. Now if I could just get off my @ss and get some exercise in I might see the scale head downward some more!

Good for you! I does feel good to know you made a good choice and avoided excess calories.

Good job Niki...DW and I have been splitting some meals while dining out (not all) since being on WW.....I love burgers and have not had one in a while....I'm having a pretty good week on the WW plan....hard some times.....But as the say...."nothing taste as good as being smaller feels".....and that's true for me.

Just found this thread all is very interesting.
I was told by my first arrogant egotistical cardiologist (who didn't spot my aneurysm, or at least didn't bother telling me) "you have a BAV, lose 15-20 kg and see me in 12 months".
I knew it was important to lose weight for my health but wasn't serious until my second opinion this January found the aneurysm and said "yeh you could do to lose a few kilos before surgery"

I have been yo yoing the last month but must have done something right
as I broke the 90kg mark

Starting weight in January was 103kg
up until last week I couldnt get past 90kg
This morning I weighed in at 87.5kg
Last weeks loss is -2.5kg
Total loss in the past 4 months -15.5kg

for those that don't speak metric
was 227
now 192.9
last weeks -5.5
total loss -34.17 pounds:D

Now to see if I can just keep that figure heading down heading up to my surgery

Had a cruddy week, thanks. My knee now feels numb. But at least I haven't resorted to any banned chimpster substances and I have eaten salmon now two nights in a row (guess my DW forgot I ordered it when we went out last night, and so she baked a nice salmon tonight too. Tasty -- but I think I need about three scones now to erase the salmon taste. :p Who knows, maybe SB can pull another surprise this week -- weight loss while exercising about as much as a veggie.

Welcome to our challenge, nice to have another local on here...

You have done some Excellent work there!!!!...

Its so much easier to figure Kilos than pounds...even though pounds lost sound more impressive 'cos there's more of them;) .

SuperBob.....drastic times call for drastic measures......be on the lookout for a small package wrapped in plain brown paper.....it will most likely be delivered under the cover of night....the package will be untraceable with no return address due to the relentless pursuit of the Ref and her agents....
