How long is your scar??

Mine's about 11 inches long and really wide, the keloids finally flattened out after about 8 months of hurting and itchiness. I reject stitches so the top and bottom knots both kept the scar open (both times) until, finally the bottom one came free and my PCP cut the extra length off the knot at the top. The home care nurses used the dressing for burn wounds and that really helped both the bullet holes and the incision heal.

I've had many surgeries, Ross and I are running neck and neck in this. I think I'll have him definitely beat in a couple of months since the bone cutter and I are toying with a repair on my right knee in the near future.

So how many is that??? I know I'm way up there (16) and always wonder how many people have me beat (no one I know IRL, of course). My scars tend to be on top of one another, which is the only reason I don't look more like a bad accident than I do. ;)

My scar is 9 1/2 inches with no cleavage or chest hair to hide it. And the wires are easy to feel.

But speaking of size this reminds me of a funny event with my teenage daughter. She had recieved an inappropriate spam email asking her if she wanted a "bigger willy". She was laughing because her brother's name is Willy. I asked her if she had replied to the email and told them no, her Willy was already 6 foot tall. Needless to say, in the past couple years we have started calling my son, Will.:)
