Just received Judith Viorst's new book, "Alexander and the Wonderful, Marvelous, Excellent, Terrific Ninety Days", a hilarious account of what happened when her youngest son, wife and three children under five came to live with them for three months while their house was being renovated. It was a gift that arrived in the mail today from my daughter, who although not for three months, has spent two, three week spells here this summer as well as two, 4 or 5 day visits with our toddler grandson. The first three weeks were while her husband made the physical move for them from Cambridge to Tampa and the last three weeks were just this month when he had to spend 3 weeks in Iraq on business for Mitre. The 4 to 5 day visits in between were for just "for fun".:D I'm half way through the book ( a short 113 pages) and highly recommend it for all you grandparents here on VR.Com. It is laugh out loud hilarious and oh, so true.

I can't die until I have read all the books. I will put this one on my list for next time I go to my book store uptown. I love fun books - like Stephanie Plum......... and a good murder mystery as in The Body In the Volvo ......... The Cookie mysteries ........ Harlan Coben books .......... kellerman/Kellerman ......... Michael Connelly .....etc, etc, etc...........
