Just wanted to say a big THANKS to the VR community. It's been one year to the day that I went under, and after some bumpy roads at first I'm doing quite well now. Congrats also to Temp, Deb, and many others who had surgery around this time last year. I'm still almost 100% pacemaker dependent, but I certainly feel a lot better than I had for years prior to the surgery. I'm working one day a week giving music lessons and that's going well. I go to the gym fairly often too, and the cardio & strength training I'm doing seems to help a lot. I feel I can do much more than prior to the AVR. Again, thanks to all of you for your support & information!--Chris
and this from my spouse:
And a big thanks from me, his wife, as well. You were all a big help. I never thought it would get easier, but it has. All of you kept me focused and secure in knowing that he would get through the difficulty. Every day has been a true new beginning. I thank all you for your advice, your kindness, and your concern for both of us.--Carla
