The pregnant woman who's missing. Well I'm sitting here watching a helicopter working sections of the area, 1500+ people have just started an all out foot search from door to door. This is going to be an interesting day. Top it all off, this girl virtually lives around the corner from me. Less then a mile.

It must be strange to have that going on right where you live.

I keep praying for a good outcome. But there isn't much hope. I just don't understand why this happens. It's either men who don't want the "responsiblity" of a child or sick and desperate women wanting a child. My heart goes out to that poor woman. Just as she is about to give new life this happens. So sad.

Yes, we're watching this now. They're talking to her sister; she won't comment on Bobby Cutts for legal reasons. Such a tragic situation.

It feels so odd for this to be happening in Canton...one of our "own" hometowns. We have thought about what you were seeing going on. Sounds like a busy place today.

We certainly hope this woman is alive, but it's hard to have a lot of hope for that considering all that we know. The best that can happen now is for her family to find her whatever the situation. I can't imagine the mental and emotional torture in not knowing.

I was wondering how close she was to where you lived. Sad story and I hope they sure find out what happened soon. Sure brings back memories of the Lacy Peterson tragedy but I pray for a better outcome.

Well after the Sheriff and FBI got ahold of the cell phone records, they were back at Bobbies last night taking things from the home. They aren't saying anything, which is good as far as the case goes, but it is very stressful for those looking for her. I'm running on the presumption that the cell phone records turned up a call or two to/from Bobby after she talked to her mom.

My peeve right now is, why is this guy even a police officer? When I went through Law Enforcement training, we were to be held as absolute role models in the publics eye. If this guy is a role model, then I must be missing something. Sure a person is entitled to a private life, but for crying out loud, not something like being a swinger when your a public servant.

My wife has been really watching this closely since it is happening in her home town. She is going to call some family down there.
We hope for the best but it doesn't look good.
If you followed the Tara Grant story from up here, it happened only two miles from our place. We saw helicpters all day for a number of weeks.
I hope this doesn't come to an end like that one did, it was really tragic.

Hey Ross! It is a very weird feeling having this kind of thing happen in your town. Kelsey Smith happened a couple of weeks ago very close to me-she was the poor girl abducted in the Target lot and killed-all in broad daylight. Very very scary. I pray this girl is okay, but it does look bleak....:( Deb

I have seen the car wash place where the little girl was led away. It's in Sarasota where son lives and he pointed it out when we were passing. It's eerie when you get close to something like this. I wondered where in Oh it's happening but hadn't heard Canton. I hope they find her soon. It has to be the worst for her family. Too many of these things are going on in the past few years.

T.V. says..the age 2 year old son..said mommy is in a rug..why cannot they ask him..who wrapped her in the rug?It was a comforter off her bed..even said..son said, mommy knocked over the table? ..Why don't they say Who? Surely he would know....He was there to witness it all......he would know his own Daddy? ..Bonnie

Bonnie,

Maybe they already have some info from the son and that's why they went back to the ex-husband.

One thing the police don't like to do, is show their hand. This is especially true when they are dealing with another cop.

That's the frustrating part about all of this. The Sheriffs Dept knows things, but they are not about to blow this case by letting the media turn it into a circus. I hate it, but that is how it is done and it's being done properly.

good for the police. I recall during Jackie's case, the detectives would go to all of us individually and ask questions, but they never gave any feedback no matter what our response to the question was. They were all business. And when they laid it all out in court every t was crossed and every i was dotted.

If it's a question that you want to know about, the answer is "I cannot answer that as it's part of our investigation".

Apparently they found Jessie and she is deceased. Her boyfriend, Bobby Cutts is going to be charged (or already has been) in her murder.

So very, very sad.

The official word is, they found her body in nearby Summit County, but they were not and won't be specific, and that Bobbie Cutts is presently in the Stark County Jail awaiting arraignment with two charges of murder, Monday Morning.

I heard a statistic last night that many women are mudered by the father of their unborn child. Can't remember the exact number or percentages, but the reporter said that it is due to the stress that a pregnancy brings on a couple. They were saying that all couples go through this stress but that obviously some people (like Bobby Cutts and Scott Peterson, and who knows how many others) just can't take the responsibility to deal with the stress. I think it's a character flaw. Some men want to have the fun of making a baby but can't or won't handle the reponsiblility of actually raising and loving their own child. Kind of selfish, huh? I'm sure a psychologist would chide me for my simplistic viewpoint here, but this is just so horrible and senseless. Why didn't he just walk out of her life? Of course, I know the answer to that also. He would still have to pay child support. LINDA

What is bugging me is that of which we are not being told. I'm like anyone else, I want a little more info, but hey, the Sheriffs Office is handling this just exactly as it should be handled. and aren't going to give us ANY of what we want. We're all going to have to wait until this goes to court. There is a lot of tension here. They started asking the families attorney about thoughts and feelings of the family, now that they know. They got real personal and down right invading. I loved the guys response, He took a step back, a deep breath, bowed and shook his head, then looked directly at them and said, "You people don't want to do this , not in this community". It was kind of lynchmobish in tone and really out of character for this area.
