Need Prayers

Please pray for my husband's brother. He has cancer and is not expected to live long. He has battled cancer twice before. Once as young man with cancer of the lymph glands and just last year he had stomach cancer. They said it was gone. He has been going to veterans hospital in Albuquerque. He hasn't been feeling well lately and they have told him that he had acid reflux, walking pneumonia, bacterial in stomach. He finally got so sick he had to be admitted to hospital for more tests and they are now saying the cancer is back with a vengeance. Agressive, in his throat, lymph glands and nodes. stomach, and lungs. The doctors say there is no hope. Maybe prolong it a little but not much. I think by all the fluid that he has got, that he is in the last stages. They said maybe six months. My husband is very upset and worried.
My ex sister in law swears this was caused by agent orange as he had it so young. Years ago. Some technicality in the way the cancer doctor worded it back then caused him not to be on that list. My husband was also exposed to it. They say it can cause heart trouble also. He has had two different kinds of heart troubles (attacks).
This is three in my family within 3 years. Not counting the older aunts and uncles. I have had five of those die and three cousing die from cancer is the last couple of years.

You will all be in my prayers. A very good friend of mine lost his wife to cancer this week after a six year battle. There seems to be so much cancer about. Maybe it is that I am older and never noticed it before. It is sad.

Missy, you can count me with the others praying for your family too. We have had a lot of cancer deaths in our family but, except for my husband's mom who died when he was a boy, all were with elderly members. I have lost several friends who were not old and that was extremely tough. I don't know how they can tell if it was from agent orange or not but I know our brave soldiers are often in harms way from ways other than just bullets. May God comfort each one you.
