I am Colleen, Philip's wife. He asked me to post a message when he was out of surgery. All went well, his is still in ICCU, but almost awake, wiggling toes and opening his eyes. The doc said there were no surprises. I'll keep you posted as the days go by. Thanks for all of the support you have all given to Philip.;)

Thanks so much for taking the time to post Colleen. Sending our best wishes for an uneventful recovery. I know you have to be relieved. Try to get some rest yourself.

Thank you so much for posting! We are always anxious to hear the news! So good to hear that he is behaving as he should in CICU.

Best wishes for continuing excellence!! Sometimes there are little blips in the road, so be patient, and help Phillip to be patient. Don't hesitate to come here with any questions. You are his best advocate (he won't be thinking that clearly for a day or 2) so don't be afraid to speak up to the staff if something feels amiss. Mostly, you'll probably find a wonderful, caring hospital community.

Like someone said, the hard part is over now to recovery! I will keep you all in my prayers!! Great News!!

Hi Colleen - Glad to read the update! Hoping this will be an extremely pleasant springtime in the Rockies for you two and that Philip's recovery is like his surgery -- no surprises! Take care and post again.

Thanks for taking the time to post and good luck with the recovery.

Paul
