Here's my pic...2 weeks post AVR. Thank you Stretch for helping me upload it.

It feels a little weird showing off my fresh war wound, but I am very proud to join those brave souls that have displayed before me.

Whose next???

Karen

Bravo!

Bravo!

Welcome to the Order!;)
Ohhh...that look and that smile! Post op for sure!

2 Weeks post op......you look fantastic!!!! All war wounds should be proudly displayed, Karen.

Keep up the good health!!!

Evelyn

You look fantastic, Karen. The picture of good health and you do the shirt proud!

Thank you guys! You have all been so supportive.
I do feel actually really good. I am thankful. And the lovely, dark scabby things on my scar are pretty much gone now too, so it doesn't really look that bad to me.
Tom, I have been following your story and I am inspired by your return to running. You're out of my league (only 5k and 10ks for me). Keep up the good work!!!!

Welcome, Lady KarenS to the order!

You look like you are doing just FANTASTIC! Wow! :D

Best wishes on your continuing recovery!

Ruth

Looks like you got a cat scratch and nothing else. You look excellent for this soon after surgery. :)

If I knew I would look as good, it would almost make the thought of a reop attractive.;)

KarenS -

You are an inspiration for me! I can't wait until I get to post a tawdry shirt picture and become one of the club! Keep up the great recovery!:)

You look great! I wish the TOOTS had been around when I had my surgery because I don't even have any pictures of myself during that time! Since I had my surgery before Hank, this website wasn't even around then! You all make it so fun to have surgery. Not fun enough to have it again though. I'm not psycho!

Thanks Everyone,
You are all so sweet and encouraging!!
It's funny, but something happens to you when you put on one of Bob H's shirts....you get an instant boost of energy and your arm automatically begins to float up.. It's magic ;) Bob, I think the shirt is awesome. Does that make me tacky/tawdry/crazy???

Karen. You're as cute as a button. And you look GREAT (despite the tawdry shirt!).

I'm glad Stretch started this ridiculously silly tradition....I think it is delightfully human! Good for Stretch to have zeroed in on our beloved BobH's unique character and gotten this ritual going.

And good job, Karen!! Keep up the great recovery!

:D Marguerite

Karen - Congratulations on your post-op progress. I'm sure that joining the TOOTS must be one of your highlights. You actually make the shirt look good!

Stay strong and shoot for steady improvement toward full recovery.

I didn't look that great BEFORE I got sick.;) :D ;)

Thanks for sharing and may things just keep getting better.

Gina,

I am so sure that is not true and you are always so kind. Thank you for the well wishes!!

Karen
