Hi, all--
I have to make this short as I need to leave for work, but the past couple weeks I've been having some minor dizzy spells that last for a minute or two, and happen nearly daily. My blood pressure has been running anywhere from 88/56 to 100/63, and I figure the dizziness has more to do with my beta-blocker and an "on the lower side" BP.

Just wanted to ask you if this is something I should mention to my cardio, or just wait and mention it to him at my next appointment in April.

Side note to ChristinaL--Got your message, sorry I haven't written yet. It's been a busy week!

Thanks in advance--

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Seems to me that bears mentioning to the cardio. Even if it is the beta blocker--and I'll bet it is--you may need an adjustment in your meds.

It can't hurt to call your cardio, Debi. That bp could sure be a factor. But with all of this crazy weather we've been having, and the wild barometric changes, could you be having a sinus or inner ear issue?

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

I definitely would tell the cardio. I had the same problem recently and told my cardiologist; he had me come in before my scheduled appointment to check it out. It ended up with him lowering my blood pressure med dose. That has helped a lot with my dizziness. Best wishes.
