Well Folks,
I went in to have another Tee to see if the blood clots were till on my valve. It started out bad then it went worse from there. It took them 6 times to get an IV in. then they gave me six shots of versaid and I was till wide awake. My husband was sitting out in the hall next to the room. He thought they were killing me. They couldn't get me to relax to get the tube down my throat. I am set to have the test over this friday but the plan to put me under. With all the stress going on my whole face broke out with a red rash that lasted 4 days. It reminded of the rash I got from using a sharp razor.
Thanks everyone for their prayers & support. I have had 10 of theses done and never had a problem like this. But with me anything can happen.

Hi Sherrin,

What did I miss my friend Was not aware you had clots on your valve. So sorry I will pray for speedy resolution!

Let's talk Versed. I can almost guarantee you had a reaction to it. Especially with the rash. I am allergic to it myself. They can never give me enough. Fully alert during the tests. Can't swallow the camera, etc. Versed remains in my system and works it's magic for up to two days after my tests. Happened twice. I would have to be watched. Could not drive for 2 days because of falling asleep on demand. Then awful headaches! Not sure what else they can give? Have not had a need for that type of testing!

I have allergies to so many things they don't have alot to pick from. It doesn't work for the test but I can go to sleep for a couple of days after.

I dont remember my TEE, the versed did its thing and afterwards my husband said I kept asking the same questions over and over...LOL What will they do about the blood clots?

They haven't told me what my options are if they are still there! But I'm hopeing they are gone and I won't have to deal with the what if's.

Thanks all for your prayers and support. A lot of people have no ideal what we go through on a monthly basis. My daughter the RN she ask me to go bowl to raise money for March of Dimes. She is in charge of the fund drive at her Hosp. I bowled two games and I am so sore today but it was worth it.
I sarted mentoring a first grade little girl last week at the school my daughter went to. They call it 123 because they try to keep you with the same child for the first three years.
