Today is not only my birthday. It's also the 20th anniversary of my stroke. Not that I'm celebrating the TIA itself, it's the 20 yr survival that's significant. There was never a recurrence. I passed the 15th anniversary of my valve replacement last July and now one more milestone awaits. My running logs currently total 29,977 miles, so any day now I'll turn over the old odometer to 30K. It's been a good year.
