I have never seen Barb any happier than today on a beach in Puerto Rico with our grand-daughter Ellie. Indeed, it is a great way to enjoy Christmas. I love to check out Ellies hand-drawing comfort from Grandma being there. There was a giant, crashing surf 40 feet from where they are sitting.

Dennis, those are absolutely precious. Keep soaking it in! Avery (with Mommy and Daddy) left today after 6 days here. I waited until they drove away to cry.

Children are our hope

and I don't know how they do it, but they always seem to make our lives happier. God had such a grand design when He/She created families.

Ellie is such a beautiful child, Dennis. And now that Christmas is over, I am ready to join the ranks of those of you in tropical places this holiday season. I've seen enough snow!
