Hey, gang. I'm sorry I've not posted anything postop. I've just not felt like typing, and didn't feel like I had that much to say more than Noni could, think.

We're leaving NYC this afternoon at 5 and should be home by 7. Looking forward to getting there.

Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers over the last couple of weeks.

I'm sure I'll be in better touch once I'm home and a computer is a bit more accessible.

Still haven't make a picture with The Shirt! :(

Hey Stretch,
Glad to hear you will be going home soon. I hope you guys have a safe trip.
Noni did a Great Job of keeping us up to date on your recovery and I hope the rest of it goes Well. Isn't it nice to be on this side of the mountain?:)

Noni did a great job of keeping us up to date, Stretch and we're just happy you are going home. Safe travels and enjoy the homecoming. We look forward to hearing from you when you feel up to it.

Great to hear from you Stretch.

Great to hear from you Stretch.

It sometimes seems like everyone recovered so much faster than I did. I wasn't feeling much like typing myself, right after surgery. Please just take your time.

great websites! i see you still use film. how unusual!

good luck, will be thinking of you, sending good vibes your way.

Stretch,

Welcome back brother!!!! So glad to hear from you. Really glad to hear that you are going home today. There really is no place like home. Wish you safe and fast travels and a great recovery from the house.

Sorry to hear that your climb over the mountain was so difficult. We've been praying for you continually and will continue to do so. I'm sure things will continue to improve and you'll be back to even-better-than-your-old-self in no time.

Be sure to walk, breathe, exercise, and rest. Trust me I know the walks are boring and frustrating at the beginning, but they do get easier over time. Just do the right amount (i.e. not too much or too little).

We'll be waiting to hear more as you get time.

David

We are so glad to hear!

We are so glad to hear!

It's great to see you online!! We've all been waiting patiently. One day at a time right now. Be easy on yourself- this is your time to be pampered.

Stretch - since Noni did such a good job of assuring us you were doing fine, we can wait for you to get your energy back to fill us in.

Take good care of yourself. Everyone recovers at their own pace.

Hi Stretch!

Always good to hear from the patient himself though - just that extra touch of reassurance!!
I'm sure you are going to be exhausted when you get home. Don't fight it - rest as much as you need, and we'll hear from you whenever you're ready.
I'm just so happy that everything went well for you.
Gentle Hugs!

Don't rush it.
Take your time and recover at your own pace.
Just because you got out of the hospital so early, doesn't mean you need to rush into everything else.
Good to hear you are headed home.
Take care and have avery Merry Christmas.

Ben

Been keeping up on Noni's posts. Glad the worst is over. Have a safe trip home. Just being home makes one heck of a difference.

Just wanted to wish you a restful sojourn at home these next few weeks. You will improve.....be patient. Everyone goes at their own pace. Hope the roughest part is behind you now.

Happy Holidays!!

:) Marguerite

I'm glad to see you, Stretch!
Remember, there's no place like home--especially at the holidays!

Stretch,

So good to see you posting :). Sure hope your trip home is uneventful and safe!

Thoughts/prayers for continued good recovery.

There is no place like home. Be sure and do your spirometer exercises diligently. And any stretching exercises you were given. And walk, remembering you have to save your strength for a return, so pace yourself. Hang in there. You'll feel better bit by bit, day by day.

HI Stretch!

And "ditto" to what everyone else has said!

Sure hope your flight home was uneventful and that you don't get overtired.

Looking forward to your next post (in a couple of days!)
