Dear Noni,
Hope the antibiotics kick in soon for you and that Stretch is feeling stronger tomorrow too and that this is just a small bump in the road to recovery. Prayers and best wishes still coming your way!

Hope you get better quickly.

It's funny but this happened to me also, my mother and wife got sick during my recovery period in hospital and had to stay away....i guess its a combination of the stress of having to remain strong during the process and the relief once its over that allows the body to give up and get sick.

I hope you feel significantly better by tomorrow Noni.

Sounds like Stretch is having a "par for the course" recovery. Ask him if he was able to get the plate # of the truck that hit him, and seems to hit 99% of us having valve surgery. We've been trying to find out who the lunatic is that's driving that truck!:D ;)

Let us know how the echo goes. I'll be praying that it look really pretty in there.

Hate to sound like a broken record..........

Hate to sound like a broken record..........

but, Noni, I hope you get to feeling better soon Believe me, I know what it is like to be sick and have your "baby" in the hospital. I hate those masks, but it beats not being able to be there at all.

Give Stretch our love and we hope and pray that he is home heading up the Arrythmiacs soon. ;) :D Hugs. J.

Noni and Stretch -
So glad that Stretch is doing well. So sorry that you are ill. Echo the sentiments of all here - hope you feel better, keep rested hydtrated, and have a little TLC for you too. Send Stretch my best with everyone's.

Take care - continued prayers and best wishes for you both.
God Bless!!

I brought quite a few of the hand sanitizer dispensers and put them in about every common area at work. So many people have colds, sorethroats, and bronchial things that I think are just being passed around in circles. In the hospital it is like that too. So many people and so many bugs that it is a wonder they let patients in there at all! I used to know a lady who turned 102 and wouldn't let herself be admitted to the hospital for anything since she didn't want to chance getting sick and not getting out again.

Noni, I hope you are feeling better since it makes this time so much more stressful when you aren't feeling up to par. Families are very important and I think sometimes the extent of it isn't appreciated. Believe me though that we understand what a role you play in Stretch's recovery! Both of you take care now and especially don't go out trying to do too much for the holidays. You can do that next year. This year you have other things more important.

Hi Stretch and Noni!

I sure hope that you are both feeling a great deal better now! I am so very sorry that we couldn't help out in any way while you were sick Noni, my husband and son were/are also fighting the bug. Actually, they were both going to say "hi" to Stretch and drop of "THE SHIRT" but Stretch, you really didn't sound up to visitors at all.

We are now home in this very curious warm upstate NY weather.

I am exhausted and still having some trouble remembering things, but each day brings a little more strength, as I am sure it will to you both.

Talk to you soon.

Nan
