I am happy to report that Ellie loves going to daycare. She has always been extremely social, and loves to be around other kids. many thanks to all of you who responded to my questions of a few weeks ago.

This is a picture my daughter took of Ellie walking into the little daycare place in Puerto Rico. She enjoys dancing to the music. Axel is no longer a behavior problem, and right now everything is great. We are very grateful.

Hi Dennis! What a doll! Absolutely adorable. I am so glad she likes school-I teach kids her age and they are so fun. They learn so much so fast in a school year! I am thrilled things are going great:) Deb

She's a little doll, Dennis.
I'm glad the problems with Axel have been resolved.:)

Ellie's picture should be sent to Marie Osmond so Ellie's face can be immortalized on one of the porcelain dolls Marie makes. Ellie is just the most precious child I have seen in a long time. Of all the beautiful dolls made by Marie, I don't think I have seen a face that can compare to Ellie's.

Congratulations on being so lucky to have such a happy person in your family.

Thank you so much for sharing.

She is adorable. They do make life so much happier don't they. My husband and I will be welcoming our combined 7th granddaughter in a couple of months. Each one so different and each one sweeter than sweet. I bet she is going to have a great Christmas. Do you get to spend it with her? I believe there is a law that states that clearly.

You are so correct about that law. Around here it is called "Grandma's law". My wife, Barbara retired after 32 years of teaching elementary school in Minneapolis (Coon Rapids, to be specific), thinking the teaching bug was out of her sustem for good. But it wasn't, and she is enjoying her delightful, and small class (12 second graders). Plus her new paycheck makes it possible for her to finance our trip to Puerto Rico to see Ellie, (and her mom & dad). Grandma has even made a substantial "contribution" to help finance the trip for our son & daughter-in-law (who live in Minneapolis).

As they say: Plane trip to Puerto Rico for Christmas $$$$.
The fact that the whole family will be there (and WANTS to be there together) PRICELESS.

I am on the other end of Coon Rapids, Shakopee to be exact. You have a son in Mpls? What area is he located in and is he a teacher also? Now I understand how you had surgery at Abbott.....the light just went on in my head. Holler real loud if you ever head north to visit him. Tonight is supposed to be the coldest night of the season. Such a change from last weeks weather, but that is MN. Christmas together in Puerto Rico sounds wonderful.
