It was a very nice piece. I am sure the donor's family will appreciate it. Without question, I believe all of us who have made it through OHS have a lot to be thankful for, including lots of people who made it all possible.

Thank you, Robert, for sharing this with us. It is a wonderful tribute to God, family and the unselfish people out there who share their loved ones with the world through organ donations. Beautifully written and lovingly inspired.

Robert..
Congratulations on a wonderful article. You have said it all. My brother passed away prematurely due to complications of MS. He too was a donor. A few months after his death, my sister-in-law received a letter of thanks (thru a 3rd party) from the recipient of my brothers corneas. It's wonderful knowing that someone is seeing the world thru my brothers eyes. I'm certain that the family of your valve donor also receives some comfort knowing that their loved one has helped a another's heart become a healthy heart.
Always maintain your positive nature and God Bless!

That is a beautiful article, Robert. From the heart, no pun intended. It reminds us how richly blessed we truly are. (After my own miraculous surgery, I was calling myself Blessed Bob. I need to keep that perspective.)

Congratulations on publication of your article there in Vols-land! (Hey a 9-3 season is another reason to be thankful. :)
