Went for my annual echo and 6 mo checkup today.

She surprised me by making it a stress echo = I HATE THOSE THINGS!   But it wasn't all that bad this time. And the news was worth it.

St. Jude still looking very pretty.

Heart muscle working very well upon stress, valves working well. Still a slight leak from the aortic, but not a big deal. No leak from the St. Jude.

All in all, a very good appointment.

My doctor reviewed the stress echo with me right there and she had a big grin on her face. She said that she couldn't ask for anything better than what she saw.

So some more things for me to be thankful for.

Most excellent news, Karlynn. Hope everyone at the table gives you an extra toast.....they should!!! Good job staying healthy!

Me too. I had my valve job 15 year anniversary last July and the best news was there was no news to report.

Hi Karlynn! Congratulations! That is wonderful news. Now you can go for another good 15 years! ( and another, and another.....)

Karlynn -

Well, remember how you said my heart would win a "beauty" pageant over yours. It sounds like you most definitely have won the crown this year! Best I can hope for now is Miss Congeniality or to win the "talent" contest. First runner up to you would be nice! Hee. Congratulations on your great yearly exam!! Wow - you can't ask for any better than that!

I'm sure you had a blessed Thanksgiving what with the new grandbaby and the good news regarding your echo.

Sounds like you are "set" for another 15 plus years! :)

Great news Karlynn. Happy to hear all is going so well for you since I am a few years behind you and watch your progress like a hawk.;) :D ;)

Hears hoping for a continuing lifetime of good results and a happy valve.

Karlynn, sorry this is late, but congrats on your checkup. I'm about five years behind you so I always look up to you as a role model, or heart model, as the case may be. :)
