Seriously, am at work today - just another day. Sigh....

However, we are going out to eat tonight and it is really going to be a week of festivities - our one-year wedding anniversary was on Sunday - we went out to a great German place on Saturday night (with accordian player and all) - on Sunday night, I made dinner - beef burgundy and zucchini gratin, etc. With my adequate cooking skills, it turned out pretty tasty!

Tonight we are going out and this coming Saturday night we are meeting up with our friends who stood up with us at our wedding and going to The Broker (pretty swanky for us!) in Denver. So, the pounds will pile on, I'm sure.

TigerLily - happy birthday to you also!!

Each year is a blessing and I think nothing of getting more "mature" aka old each year.

wishes - hope we hear from TigerLily so she can tell us how great a b-day she had.

I had a wonderful birthday, although they sure come around faster every year!!!

Wayne is great with making my birthday special - cards from him and the cats and the dog!! A dozen red roses sent to my workplace which was a surprise. The new biography of Johnny Cash and a CD of AP Carter songs sung by June Carter Cash. Ya all need to know, I am an Iowa hillbilly at heart, although I try to pretend I am cosmopolitan.

Also some bath salts and a candle from Aveda - he usually goes overboard.

We also went out for Chinese in a raging snowstorm last night - the only ones in the restaurant. Wayne said it was my birthday when we walked in and the waitress brought out a piece of cheesecake with a candle in it - so my birthday was very special.
